Maangere Community Law Centre

The project is a retrofit of the existing Community Law Centre located on the wings of the Maangere Town Centre. The organisation wanted a space that acknowledged the Maangere cultural landscape, and embraced the cultural diversity of their clients. Upon arrival, visitors are met by a series of meeting rooms that are shaped by the interconnected system of maunga in Maangere, centering user’s sense of place and identity. The whaanau space reflects the wider ecological landscape and proposes a variety of open and intimate spaces mirroring the brand identity of the Maangere Community Law Centre.
